Blacksburg Rugby

Blacksburg's 2009 awards dinner has been scheduled for Saturday, 12 December, 2009, from 5:00 to 8:00 p.m. at the London Underground. Players, coaches, and regular supporters are welcome to attend the event to spend time with club members and patronize the club's sponsoring establishment. Attendees are also encouraged to bring a date. The event costs $10 per person to cover food and drink costs.

Award winners will be honored at the event and some special recognition will be granted to some mid-season retirees who are closing long and successful careers with the club. Club officers for 2010 will also be elected.

In the meantime, Blacksburg players are encouraged to keep attending offseason training and enjoy the upcoming James River Christmas Sevens Tournament in Richmond.
