Blacksburg Earns Place in 2008 Mid-Atlantic Knockout Rounds
Blacksburg RFC withstood a late comeback from Virginia Beach RFC to escape the away fixture with a 24-14 in their last match of the Fall 2007 season. This win leaves Blacksburg second in the Fall 2007 Virginia Rugby Union Senior Men's Division III standings, ensuring them a berth in the Mid-Atlantic Rugby Football Union's territorial playoff rounds.
