Blacksburg Rugby

Bad timing and the tyranny of distance forced Blacksburg to cancel their friendly road fixture against the Norfolk Blues this weekend. Spring break for area universities Virginia Tech and Radford limited the availability of several Blacksburg players affiliated with both schools, while others found it impossible to move other committments to accommodate for the long road trip. Previously optimistic about player availabiliy for the fixture, Blacksburg eventually had to withdraw.

Blacksburg sincerely apologizes to the Norfolk Club for the cancellation and will now regroup for a home fixture against Virginia Beach on 21 March.
