Blacksburg Rugby

Blacksburg has begun its regular training schedule in preparation for the 2008-2009 season, holding ttraining sessions on Tuesdays and Thursdays at 6:00 p.m. at Blacksburg's home oval on Country Club Drive near South Main (behind the Kroger supermarket on South Main). New players are welcome to attend regardless of experience level.

Attendees are asked to arrive early if possible so that training can begin promptly. Players are also urged to consult Blacksburg's fixtures list and try to make room for in their personal schedules for as many home and away fixtures as possible.

Given that a number of new Experimental Law Variations (ELVs) went into effect 1 August, players should also be sure to familiarize themselves with these laws by reviewing the International Rugby Board's related video and guide.
