Blacksburg Rugby

Blacksburg has finalized its competitive fixture list for the fall 2008 season, which begins with a road match against Newport News on 6 September and ends with another road fixture in Roanoke on 1 November. Also featured are home matches against Dan River (Danville, VA), Virginia (Charlottesville, VA), Virginia Beach, and James River (Richmond, VA), plus a trip to Blackwater (Lynchburg, VA).

All Blacksburg players are urged to be sure that their schedules can accommodate these fixtures, as the club aims to qualify for a third consecutive appearance in the Mid-Atlantic Rugby Football Union territorial playoffs during the coming year. New players are welcome regardless of experience level, and should come to training at 6:00 p.m. Tuesdays and Thursdays at Blacksburg's home oval on Country Club Drive near South Main (behind the Kroger supermarket on South Main).
